It’s Better Late Than Never …
Scanning the sky on Friday afternoon while driving back to the office after a late lunch, I knew that Friday night's sunset would be nice. With daylight saving time, I no longer have the luxury of getting home before dark. So back at the office, I told myself, "must get home around 4:30pm." Next thing I knew, it was 4:30pm, and I was still banging away at the keyboard!
When I got home, the clouds started to turn colors. Realizing that there was no way I could have made it out to the beach before the best light disappeared, I grabbed my gears and jumped on my bike anyway. My intention was to stop half way at the creek. After some mad pedaling, I got there just in time for a few shots. I am glad I was late :)
