Mono Lake Sunrise

Sunrise over South Tufa Reserve
Arrived at Mono Lake for a sunrise shoot about five minutes late, but managed to get a couple shots before the light faded.
I’m beginning not to like using my circular polarizer filter with a wide angle lens when shooting backlit scene. There’s noticeable posterization in the raw file before I do any post production. I wished that I had taken the circular polarizer off when I shot this :( Although I shot this at iso 50, I ended up adding a little noise to the image to counter the posterization effect on the upper left corner.
