I spent last week visiting Olympic National Park and Mt Rainier National Park in the Pacific Northwest. It felt good to be out with my camera again after months of inactivity. I wanted to get away from shooting beach sunrise/sunset to give my portfolio a little color variations; thus I only shot a few water falls photos during my trip. This location is about 7 miles from the lovely Lake Quinault Lodge.

Definitely a more challenging location to shoot. During the day, the sky was too bright and it was quite hazy; during sunset, the wasn’t enough light in the cove. My 3 slots Cokin-P filter holder creates severe vignetting at 17mm. Have yet to get a printable shot of this cove.
